Breville the Spiral Luxe™ Auto Pour-Over

Breville’s pour-over coffee maker, with built-in grinder, offers the ritual and flavor of authentic pour over coffee without the guesswork. The interface allows a choice of brew strength and cup size, while the automated Brew System takes care of everything else for a café-quality pour-over coffee with one touch. During product development, I conducted cognitive testing on early iconography and user interface concepts, allowing for the UI/UX to be simple to understand and match user’s expectations of performance and intuitiveness while presenting a new-to-the-world product without a precedent for the design of the digital interface.
