Inspired by Jodi, I have made the resolution to take a portrait of my daughter Alira each week throughout this year. Visit her at Che and Fidel and perhaps you’ll be inspired too.

Once again this week, I couldn’t decide which photo to post of Alira, so I left it at two.

/ the first, a little blurry, but the only snapshot that captures the look of joy and delight she gives me that is oh so fleeting.

/ after more than a few photos, she is definitely over this session, and prefers to pretend I am not there, turning away to suck her hand.
